Today for writing, we have a phonics lesson! We are going to review strategies for "Building Bigger, Longer, More Complex Words."
1. Watch the videos from Mrs. Bender. (For the 2nd video, please see our blog.)
2. After watching the video, look over one of your opinion writing pieces and check the spelling of the bigger, longer and more complex words that you used. If you got the spelling correct, that's great! If you notice an error, try and fix it. Good writers work on their spelling and sentence structure several times before calling their work "done." :) After you find a word, send a picture of it back to me! :)
