Winter Celebration

We had a fun-filled last day before Winter break! Thank you to all of the families that brought in treats to help make our celebration so fun!

Holiday Writing

This week, the 2nd graders had a few opportunities to do some holiday writing. I was so impressed with so many of their responses! 

Money City

Yesterday, Bay Port's DECA club stopped over to teach us about financial literacy! We got to participate in a program called, "Money City." It was really well organized and both the high school kids and 2nd grade kiddos did a fantastic job!

Yoga Music Class

On Wednesday, we found out Mrs. Lueck didn't have a sub for music class. In place of music, we tried doing some yoga in our classroom! The kiddos seemed to really enjoy it! They did great!

Bay Port Carolers

It's always so fun to listen to the Bay Port Carolers at this time of year! We enjoyed their visit this week on Tuesday!

Teacher Desk TAKE-OVER!

Recently, Lydia cashed in 250 dojos to steal my desk for a day! She got to bring in items from home and decorate her space. We also got to have lunch together in the classroom with a few other girls who earned it! Way to go, Lyds! 

Holiday cards and sweaters :)

Last week and early this week, we had fun making cards for the staff in our school and passing them out!
