Today, the 2nd graders learned that there are lots of different types of writing. We talked about narratives, fiction writing, non-fiction and informational writing, lists, friendly letters, poems, song lyrics, movie and play scripts and more. Afterwards, the 2nd graders got to make a list of their classmates and a list of books they love. They did a great job!
We are continuing to learn about citizenship in Social Studies. Today, the 2nd graders needed to read different citizenship vocabulary words and match them with their correct definition.
