We have officially started our Guided Reading groups! You should see a bag with your child's name on it and a book inside coming home either tonight or tomorrow night. This book should be read nightly to help with repetition, fluency and comprehension. Depending on the book, it will come home with your child between 2-7 nights. I would greatly appreciate you taking the time to listen to your child read aloud and praise them for their growth. This will help build their confidence and love of reading. As the books become longer (chapter books), they might come home for longer stretches of time. Please help your child remember to bring this bag and book home and back to school each and every day.
